Between Creators
BETWEEN CREATORS strips away the persona. Eight episodes, sixteen of the biggest names in creator culture (paired one-on-one, no host, no script) talking the way they never get to on camera. Not an interview. A conversation between two people who've lived the same impossible fame, the same industry, the same scrutiny, and finally have someone across from them who actually gets it.

Episode 8 - Leah Gotti & Alex Grey
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Alex Grey and Leah Gotti have had a wild and adventurous life. In this episode they look back at their wild years that shaped them: moving to LA together, the Hollywood parties and building a bond that outlasted every chaotic night, every fight, and every reinvention that came after. They talk about pushing each other to become better.
I sideswiped a lot of cars with the Audi before you crashed it.
SPEAKER_01I crashed it straight into a telephone pole.
SPEAKER_00I hit somebody's car at Megan Sage's apartment. John's like, you hit someone's car? I was like, no, I didn't. Sorry, John. Wherever you are. First time I met you, you were in the model house already. And I had got picked up by our agent, John. And low-key, I was pretty scared because I had never seen what he looked like. And then I get picked up from the airport, this old man with the ponytail braces hat, like picks me up in the Audi, brings me back to the Motta house, and like you're there. And Nina was there too. And then John was like showing me all of your magazines, like that you were on, and all the ones that Nina was on. And I like I don't know, I was kind of like obsessed with you. I was just like there alone. I was like, no friends, and then you were like, what's up? And then we just kind of like hit it off from there. And I was like, we're about to get in some trouble. Like John let us take the car anytime we wanted. Like, come on. We were like driving an Audi through the whole.
SPEAKER_01That was all that was like, I think, our first bonding moment. We were like, okay, we listened to the same. Oh yeah, she likes to trap traps and shit. We were like, okay, okay, we've got like some some backgrounds. Yeah. We had the craziest memories in that model house. But yeah, John always had everyone look at those magazines. That was like his go-to play. No, literally, initiation of the house. It's like, okay, now you're here. I'm gonna show you all like uh our accomplishments of the girls in this house.
SPEAKER_00You remember like, okay, I remember coming there, I was an athlete, so I wasn't really like smoking that much weed.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah. That was part of the initiation too.
SPEAKER_00Like this ball.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00I'm like, I don't even really know how, but I'll do it. I had a big old.
SPEAKER_01That was upstairs. That was that was definitely part of the upstairs party.
SPEAKER_00And being live on Periscope, we were you remember that app? It's coming back to me now that we're talking.
SPEAKER_01I haven't thought about that in years, literally.
SPEAKER_00We're upstairs in the model house, and like we had been smoking, just listening to music, and like Periscope had came out, which is like a live streaming thing. And I was like, let's just go live on Periscope. We had like thousands of people in our Periscope, me and you are just like ripping it, just vibing dance. Like, how is that legal? I got banned. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Okay, that makes sense. And you know, that was like before California changed the law where you know you could be 21 and well, we weren't even 21. So, and you but you you could have a rec card to buy weed at 18. The little like weed doctor, and they like made you pay like $25. They like hit you on the knee with the like doctor thing, and they're like, Okay, here's your weed card. And we would like go and we would buy so much. Or John would get it and he would come back and he's like, Here's your goodie bag.
SPEAKER_00I know, I had no idea. I remember that those kiva beans, yeah, those blueberry chocolate things. I ate a whole container of it because I didn't know that it was like, oh no, just be a couple.
SPEAKER_01It was like one or two.
SPEAKER_00One or two chocolate cover blueberries? Like, what is the serving? Yeah, we were little stoners. We I honestly I that's how it all started. Do you remember JT, the farmer, that guy who like came over with like that reefcase filled with like high quality like dab, shatter, edibles, flowers.
SPEAKER_01I thought I was so cool for like knowing someone like that because we didn't like obviously weed was illegal when where I grew up. It was in Texas too, right?
SPEAKER_00It still is. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, you're so right.
SPEAKER_00You took me to the club for the first time.
SPEAKER_01What when what like one oak when it was still open?
SPEAKER_00No, we I think we went to basement. Okay, yeah. We fucking saw Post Malone before he was even famous.
SPEAKER_01Like I remember this.
SPEAKER_00My little fake ID that wasn't fake. And I was like in Vegas and I used it at dinner and the It was like someone else, right? The server was that girl's friend. Oh my god. Like how odd is that? So she took it from me, and then I was like, Alex, you have to get me another one. You have to give me another one.
SPEAKER_01Because I had promoter friends, you know, like most of my friends when I first moved out here were like weren't even in the industry. And it was just like random guys. Like Hollywood weirdos. We were both very trusting. We were of like, it's not that we were naive. I think we were just so excited to be in LA, especially like in Hollywood.
SPEAKER_00We were like the freest, nobody our age had money like that.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_00And it it all happened so fast. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You know, that's the one thing I remember like a lot about moving out here. It's like everything just happened like in a blink of an eye. Yeah. It was like, and we were in it together. So it was like you with someone that's your age, and that is so outgoing, if you will, and just like so excited about life in general and like having a new, a new opportunity in life. Like we were like very grateful, but also just like ready for whatever and like down to do anything.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I think it's like one of my most favorite memories when I first came out here with you, is when we went to the beach, like we were just on the beach smoking, like I was like playing in the sand. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01We're kids again. I mean, we're we were kids, so to be fair. We were.
SPEAKER_00Going back to like One Oak, I remember I met those people because of you, and then on my 19th birthday, like they threw my birthday party there. And like I wasn't even old enough to be in there. It's like, oh, we're celebrating my 19th birthday, and then I literally got arrested.
SPEAKER_01We're 19, we're wearing like Jordans in the club.
SPEAKER_00I was wearing all red Timberlands. Like, what?
SPEAKER_01Like I would never, like, like who's and the thing is, like, we were just so cute and fun that like no one said no one said shit. Everyone else that was that there, like, they dress coded. They would dress code them. The girls, they'd have to literally leave because they weren't wearing heels or like some sexy little dress. And we're just like, what's that? What's up?
SPEAKER_00Like, like I used to go get my nails in the most insane shit. Like my black like bra panty set with like ripped up jeans and like thigh high boots and shit. And people would just be like, what do you do? And I'm just like, you don't want to know. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01We were like, we were mysterious, but also just like Google us.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, Google us. Google it. And all the when Postmates came out, you remember that? Yeah. Oh my god. Because John would always be like, That's where all my money went.
SPEAKER_01Like today I'm looking back at like, wait, where did all that money go that we were talking about? Oh yeah, Postmates.
SPEAKER_00No, I had a series. And we now I know my CPA, when I got a CPA when I moved to New York, she was like, we need to talk about this. And I'm like, what? She's like, you're spending like $5,000 a month on Postmates. From delivery addiction. I was like, am I really? Like, I don't even think I bought that much stuff. But then now that I think about it, I was like, oh yeah, like I would order like app ties from here, dessert from there, maybe I wanted something from 7-Eleven. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01No, it was bad. Back it up. It was bad. And we were just like so generous, especially with like new girls moving in the house. What can I get you?
SPEAKER_00I know buying taking people out, buying, I cannot literally we would spend thousands of dollars on weed and let everybody have it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01That was crazy. It was like a community though, especially in that house in the beginning. Because like we were all just so new and it was like wrecking John's cars.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I did. Yeah. I did.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I did too. I sideswiped a lot of cars with the Audi before you crashed it.
SPEAKER_01I crashed it straight into a telephone pole.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, well. That was bad. I backed in the green that green was that what is that Toyota car? What was that? The SUV? Oh, that was a piece of sh. I hit somebody's I hit somebody's car at Megan Sage's apartment and like wrote a little note like sorry, call me. John's Google me.
SPEAKER_01John's like, you hit someone's car? I was like, no, I didn't. Well that you're literally driving a boat. It was like some big giant like suburban type thing. And like, he literally had that car as a backup to when we crashed. No air conditioning. When we crashed the the other one, when we crashed the Audi or whatever rental car he had, he was like, okay, just take the suburban. I don't care what happens to it. Sorry, John. Wherever you are, he still wants to work with us. I don't know. I have to say, I do like whenever I talk about this, I do like remember that, you know, it could have been a lot worse. Yeah, definitely. Like he actually did take care of us and make sure we were safe. And like, I'm so grateful for that because I know there was a lot of girls in the industry that like did not have that same experience with their agent, you know? Yeah. Like he he would look out for us. Like, I don't feel like he put me in any super dangerous situations. Super dangerous is crazy. I feel like I put myself in more super dangerous situations than he did. I know.
SPEAKER_00We were booked all the time. Yeah. Like that's one thing we were not shy about it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we wore sparkly matching Ug boots for our first scene. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Professional shoots, and we're in Uggs in like white, beautiful lingerie, just pink, sparkly Uggs. LaRont was filming us. We were at the horse ranch. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I'm having so many flashbacks right now, and everything's pink. But we were like everything is pink and sparkly. Really?
SPEAKER_00Like, we were having the time of our life on that set because Colette let us do whatever we want. We're like upstairs, smoking joints, like doing whatever. And then our scene was like so not serious.
SPEAKER_01She they they let us do whatever we want because we could just handle it.
SPEAKER_00I know she let us drive her cars. Yeah, yeah. I remember that. I remember when you told on me, like I she she gave me the G-Wagon for like weeks. Like I was jealous. Yeah, and you jealous. Like you told her Francesca, she doesn't even have her license. She had a DUI on her birthday. And Colette calls me, she's like, Leah, you don't have your license?
SPEAKER_01I was like, who told you that? Oh my God. Because I was like, why is she driving my car? I'm screaming. Oh my god, I'm the worst. We were literally living in her house. We would shoot and then we would go out. And that was like our routine. And like, what are we doing tonight? What are we doing tonight?
SPEAKER_00Day of the week. Where are we going?
SPEAKER_01Monday, Tuesday, literally. Party, club, another club, another club. Shoot, another club. And and it was crazy because like we were. We would still show up to work. We were on time, like ready to go. Like literally, just honestly, I was like, okay, is this shoot over? Like, I gotta start getting ready. Like we're going.
SPEAKER_00There's traffic. We gotta get back to the house right now. Like, leave the makeup on, touch it up.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah. No, actually, there were so many times that we would be on set, like shoot makeup at the club. Yes. Just like maybe even into the next day a little bit too. The after party and the after after party, like it just went on forever. But like we were so young and like I was saying before, like, so excited about being there that like we just had so much energy.
SPEAKER_00Like, do you want to know something really funny? I think about a lot.
SPEAKER_01I'm scared.
SPEAKER_00We were in the club and we had just got a bottle, like, we had been drinking, like we were, I was lit, and you were like, you were doing coke. Oh, great. And I was like, air me out. I was like, sorry, no, you like, you were like, try it. And I was like, I don't want to eat. You're like, oh my god. You said this way you said to me, you're like, you're not gonna get addicted, just try it. And I tried it, and then I was so mad because it made me sober. Like I was like, I just felt like I was like on high alert. And I was like, Alex, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_01Like, what happened to the alcohol that I just drank?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, what happened to this fucking thousand dollar bottle we just ordered? I'm scared. Oh my god. That was so funny that I remember it was hot though. Like, if it was like a scene out of like a movie, we're in the club, we're just like here. The whole thing was a movie scene. It literally was it still feels like that sometimes.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, literally right now.
SPEAKER_00Like when I think about it, I'm like, wow, what the fuck? Our life was like incredible. Remember like flying on a jet to our Avian?
SPEAKER_01That was the first time I was on a private jet. Not that I'm on many private jets now, these days, but like I remember that. Did you ever go on the helicopter with them? No, I didn't go on the helicopter. Yeah. They just had like play money. And I had to 86 from the Cosmo. Okay.
SPEAKER_00I don't think you were there, but I didn't.
SPEAKER_01I think I was there for that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we were like partying and like all the smoke alarms got set off in the cosmopolitan. At like 3 a.m.
SPEAKER_01Wait, no, I I don't know. Maybe there was a lot of smoke alarms being set off.
SPEAKER_00The fucking police force of Las Vegas is like banging on the door because we had like a hull of people and they were like smoking hookahs and cigars, and weed there's a whole patio. Yeah like we could have easily just we partied a lot like over the years. Yeah, we met this guy in the club, and he was like a Turkish guy, and I think he might have been like a prince or something. I don't know what he told us. Anyways, we got a bunch of girls from the club to go with us. We were into his hotel room, and I was like, oh, like we need some more shampoo, please. Like, can you go get it? This is foggy for me. And then I got all the money and we jumped the balcony and everybody ran, but I got caught.
SPEAKER_01Okay, it's coming back to me. I can I'm picturing this part. I'm like, oh shit.
SPEAKER_00I like sacrificed myself for the friends, and I like put all the money in my dress and like I was like waiting and I was like waiting for a taxi at the ballet and like some money fell down out of my address and he was like, just get in this taxi. I was like, keep that. But he called the police and he said that we stole his passport, but really I didn't. I just threw it underneath the um mattress. Oh wow. Because I wanted him to like look for it.
SPEAKER_01I just don't know like what what like what came over us in that moment that we were like, we're gonna rob this person. Because he was like trying to sleep with us. Oh, okay, okay, okay. I thought it was just like some nice thing.
SPEAKER_00No, it wasn't like fucking. No, we thought we were going to like after party or something, and we get back and it's just him in a hotel room. And we're like, wait, what? This is not what we signed up for. And I was like, operation, get us the fuck out. Okay. And I remember when the police called me, they're like, you stole his passport. And I was like, no, he just thought me and my friends were gonna sleep with him and he could pay us. Like, we weren't doing that. And then what are they gonna say? Nothing.
SPEAKER_01Deep down, we're good girls, but like, yeah, we definitely were having the time of our lives. And we just thought we were little, literal rock stars. Because we are. We are. That's so true. Had a closet full of clothes and we would share clothes a lot. But then we would just be like, oh, I need a new bag. And we would just go to the Beverly Center, go into Louis, and just like buy a new bag right then and there. Literally. I'm just like, what?
SPEAKER_00Oh, I really need these pairs of shoes right now, like for this outfit tonight, even though I'll never wear them again.
SPEAKER_01And it was either that or like I said, we would just wear Jays. Yeah, and like together like leggings. And it's like we were just like so. I remember and like had the cutest little bodies.
SPEAKER_00I think it was Beverly Hills. There was like a sneaker store, and I like bought the J's right out of the glass case. Like they were in the center of the store. They weren't even my size, they're like a size too small, but I was like, I need those. I need those. Like macaroni and chi low, like low 11 shoes. Like we'd wear stuff like that. Yeah. Like when we'd be getting ready, like at the model house, we'd be upstairs, music loud as hits. How did like no one ever said that John? Yeah, he would sometimes come up there and be like, turn it down and be like, okay. I almost like can like taste the air when I walk into that apartment right now. I can literally imagine us up there listening to the music, doing our makeup, yeah, passing the bong back and forth, taking little pregame shots, yeah, talking about where we're going, like what's the plan? Like we'd be you'd be on the phone, like with the promoter, and we're like, okay, what club are we going to? Oh, I don't want to go to that one. We have ideas ready for us. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like the status. Oh, can we bring ID friend?
SPEAKER_00Oh, we can't bring you.
SPEAKER_01Sorry, you can't come. Oh, that was brutal. How many times did we tell the new girls, oh, you're gonna come out with us, get ready. Yeah. And then let the last second was like, sorry, you can't come. You can't sit with us. Did you ever did you get one of the diamond unicorns? I didn't. You didn't get one? No. Girl, I lost mine, and I'm so upset that it's gone these days. I wish I still had it, because that was like a crazy memory from that house. But that's what I'm saying, like the bags, the jewelry, the everything. She was like very printed. You were literally printed.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Anything that we wanted, anything, anytime, no matter what. Like I know that I could still probably pick up the phone. I could. She has called me recently. I could call and talk to her. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I would love to know what she's doing these days. Well, because I love I was obsessed with her. You know, we were all obsessed with her. Yeah. Because we were getting like you said, we were getting everything, and it was just like, Chanel? Like, I don't even think I knew what Chanel was before I I lived with her.
SPEAKER_00No, I really didn't. And we were like getting books, like we were booking with Sushi Black and Vixen, and we were like the main girls who were like getting to do all of that. Like we were always with Colette, always with sex art, always doing like the most beautiful scenes, like which I'm really grateful for because we got to literally like have good ass content. Like, we were in the top. We were on top. It was like top of the industry. Like, yeah, now it's not like that. I feel like people just pay for their covers. They're not really like getting it. Like how we go.
SPEAKER_01Magazine covers. Like, wait, did John ever take you to that magazine stand in Van Nuys and just like pick through all the adult magazines? They don't even have it like that anymore.
SPEAKER_00You have to ask Hustler in the airport. I remember when my hustler thing dropped, I was in the airport. Yeah. Like I was like, what? I feel like you and I just have like a sense of camera and light. Like we already knew. So like when we're on set, we're just like balls to the wall. Like, what's the craziest thing that I can do right now? Like, how can I push my body to do something that no one else has done? Definitely. Like in insane things. Like I I know like everybody loved it. Like I was flexible. So I would try and do like the most flexy things possible. But like still while looking hot and like, you know, and I know you, you you're like so tiny, and like people would watch your stuff and like they'd be like, How the hell is she taking that?
SPEAKER_01I think we're just like, we you know, like you said you were an athlete in in your childhood, and I was too. So like we were already like competitive and confident. Yeah. So it's like you get on set and you're doing kind of like a sport.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you're like, nobody's fucking better than me. Yeah, I'm gonna win this one. We won awards, we won in nominations, we won trophies, and we got them like every year.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and we wanted to be booked all the time, in which we were because we were good performers. Yeah, we were, you know, so I think like it kind of came naturally to us, but also like, you know, I feel like we looked up to the right people in the industry, like girls that had come and done the whole thing before us.
SPEAKER_00Like who we want to kind of be like, who do we want to like imitate? And like who who is that? Like, who were yours? Sasha Gray.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, last name. I saw her last name.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, last name. I did. I really loved like Celeste Starr, like with her girlfriends. OGs. Like OGs. OGs. Yeah, all of them. Jenna, hot, like just like sexy, like she like just poured out like sex. Oh, or Caprice, like. Oh my god, like she and she is the most centrally sexy person I have ever seen.
SPEAKER_01Without even trying, like I was saying, it it cut came naturally. So I feel like the girls were you can tell that they just actually love what they're doing. I was like, fuck, I do too.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, me too.
SPEAKER_01You know, it's like we just got into it. And then when we were working with each other, it was like a no-brainer. It was literally just like playtime. Yeah. Literally. I don't ever remember us like watching each other's scenes.
SPEAKER_00No, I feel like we would watch stuff, like I just know that I would like see people's scenes and like listen to them dirty talk. And I was like, how can I take that a step further? Like, my thing is is like I would read comments under my videos a lot, like and see like what people like. They would always say something about my eyes or something like that. So like I made it a point to like take that to the extreme. Like, I'm like looking into the camera or like making insane eye contact with whoever I'm shooting with. Yeah. And like I would say something absurd like this pussy's yours. Yeah. Like, tell me I'm yours. Like, you know, I would just say like stuff that I never heard. I like I want it to seem so intimate and so like just feral. Like the things that you say, like I want someone to hear that and be like, what the fuck should you say?
SPEAKER_01You know what I mean? Yeah, no, I I do remember reading a lot of comments and I would always get so in my head over like one bad comment or someone. I remember I read one time someone said like I was boring. And I was just like, boring? Are you fucking serious? Like you're not in your tape, you are, you random man behind a computer in Kansas, like in Kansas. Like literally just like I was like, oh, I took, we took it to heart. Like, like you said, you read something and you're like, okay, like how am I gonna change this? Right. Or like on set, you know, like really like listening to the direction and then never needing it again because we just like remembered it and we're like very serious about it. We also, you know, looked at Twitter a lot and like people reposted like clips of our scenes, people would make gifts of our scenes. That was a huge thing. I don't really know if anyone even does that anymore. Maybe like the the hardcore fans that are still the completion player. Yeah, so like why are you like how much time do you have? And you're like, but they were like, you know, serious fans because we actually were good at what we were doing. They're like, okay, like these girls are like actually. In this to win it.
SPEAKER_00Serious. I know I people come see me at my feature shows and bring me pictures of me and you. From back then? In our pink sparkly boots. Okay. Literally, and have me sign it.
SPEAKER_01And I'm like, wow. Okay, I just have to be honest. Like, in the beginning of my career, I was really good and I was really on time. But as the years went on, I kind of was like, I got lazy. I have to say. You never did though, and I always like admired that about you and like your whole career. Like you were very, very professional. Like, no matter what was going on with you on in like your personal life offset, like you always made it a point to like be there and just be like friendly and in a good mood. Like, you know. Yeah. Like you were, you were really able to leave any problems or you know, like, because like you went through some crazy stuff, you know.
SPEAKER_00I think that's also what I really liked about it is because like, you know, like you had your on and off switch. Yeah. It's like, okay, but when I go here, I'm not. I'm when I go here, I'm Leah. You know what I mean? So fuck all that other shit. I think that like if we were gonna compare like who was crazier. I think that I definitely was the wilder one. Like when it came to like doing insane things, like I was fighting. Like I was like doing all those things, you know what I mean? Like maybe you would party more, like you would you would be more willing to like do a like a drug or something like that. But then I was the one who was like, you don't need to be doing that, or like, you know, like trying to like save someone. I like I remember like flush my shit. Yeah, I did. I did like we were at Avian and you had a hella, and I was like thinking, like, I was like, oh my god, that's way too many. Like you have to go present an award, you have to like be in front of all these people. And so you were in the shower, and I like I tried to make it seem like it fell in the toilet or whatever, and you were like, you bitch, who the fuck do you think you are? It's okay, it's okay.
SPEAKER_01And I was just like, oh, like I didn't know what to do. You looked out for me, like that's the thing. Like, we really like had each other's backs.
SPEAKER_00No, it's like literally it's like my mom was like an addict, so like I was so afraid to watch you turn to that because I loved you so much. So I was like, what can I do to like stop that from happening? And I even remember we like we fought before. Do you remember that? I he like bit, I had like you pushed up against the the window in the front of the car, you're in the back of the car. And you were and you like bit me and kicked me, and I was like, you're such a bitch. And then I don't know what happened. Well you had braided my hair for that night.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And so I was sitting in the front seat and I had like a mesh thing on my dress, and you just like lurched into the front seat and grabbed my hair and my dress. And we were just like started going at it, and then Chris pulled over and I got out and I stayed at that gas station. Like, take care of the fuck home. I'm not riding. I stayed in that gas station, and then he rode home and I was just like sitting there next to this Indian man, and he was like, Are you okay? Are you okay? And I'm just like freaking out, just like fuming.
SPEAKER_00We didn't talk to each other for like two weeks, and then I got I got out of the car, and like you were coming out of the garage from John's house, and like you got out of the car, and you're like, what's up, bitch? And then you act you were acting like you were gonna hit me, and I was like, what the fuck is this bitch not gonna try to fight right now? And then you just hug me and then you were like, Oh, I'm sorry.
SPEAKER_01Like Yeah, no, if we I do remember like if we were mad at each other, it didn't last long. No, we were literally like sisters. Yeah. Like And sisters fight like that. Yeah. You know? And that's a beautiful thing when when you are so close with someone that you can actually be like, hey, I did this because you were acting crazy and I had to put you in line, but like I love you at the end of the day. Like no matter what.
SPEAKER_00Like literally, I know I could call you about anything, even like when I was going through everything that I was going through, like in that relationship. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You get scared and you and you want to be there for that person. And I feel like you were pretty much the only girl that I like can, especially now, sit back and think about and be like, I we actually had that relationship where we were scared for each other and like had to make sure that we always had each other.
SPEAKER_00And we would always say the the real shit. Like I know like a lot of girls would just kiss our ass because they're like, oh, they're like they're popping, like we want to hang out with them or like whatever.
SPEAKER_01Well, we've come a long way from fighting in the car, leaving an award. I think we were leaving ex-bus. Yeah, and now, you know, now you fight for real. For real. So like we've come such a long way.
SPEAKER_00And I just love it. I was like fighting, and I could literally hear you screaming at me.
SPEAKER_01I'm like, Marlia, here's hitter, go! I was like, because I know you can. Yeah, no, that was awesome. So that was Miami, right? Yeah, that's how you know it's real. I flew out there. I know. I'm about to be at the next one, too. In England? In England, like, let's go. We're international. International baddies? Yeah. That's so no, it's I'm so proud of you though. Like, you're channeling your inner face, and you're making bank off of it too, which is insane.
SPEAKER_00I know that is so crazy. But that's what I think about. It's like, damn, like I've literally gotten arrested for fighting, and now I get paid to beat people up for free.
SPEAKER_01It's so great. As we get older, we find new hobbies and passions, and it's just like really cool to watch you evolve into that and like be so excited about that too, you know?
SPEAKER_00That's why I like I loved watching you like when you started doing all of your art. Like, you need to do that more. I know. And like seeing your art, and I'm like, oh my gosh, your heartbreaker stuff.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, I did a little, little show, an actual little art show, it's the only one I ever did. But I took that, I flew that painting out to New York, and I had that. Well, I was lucky lucky enough to have that guy that was already doing an art show, and I was like, Can I put my painting in this? And he was like, sure. And I'm like, that's like so like you don't usually ask another artist, hey, can I like can I put my stuff in your show? But like he let me and I was just like, oh my god, like but that's the allure that we have.
SPEAKER_00That's why I feel like exactly like I would never want to take something from you, and like I feel like I always if somebody asks me who it is, it's like I want it to be this person, like I want it to be with you. Or, you know, like if I have a business opportunity and I know I can share it, I want to include you. You know what I mean? Like saying your name in rooms with people who I know. Maybe I don't have an an alignment with, but that you would. I'd be like, oh, you know, have you met Alex? Like, you know, putting it out like that.
SPEAKER_01No, I love you so much for that, and I've told you this over the years. Like, thank you so much. I feel like I've gotten so many opportunities from you, you know. It's just like it's like it's that mutual respect that we have for each other. And you know, our careers evolving, you know, and just like it's it feels so good to be like invited to something crazy like a boxing match in Miami. I'm like, of course I'm gonna be there.
SPEAKER_00Like, are you kidding me? I just loved celebrating that win with you. Like in after I I found you downstairs and like we came back upstairs to my room, like we're just like making like funny TikToks, like dancing, like we had to get ready for a flight, like within hours. And then coming like right home and getting pregnant, like with my baby, that and like seeing you with my kids and like you being at my baby shower, yeah, you know, and and my my daughters like being obsessed with you and like wanting to show you all their crazy things and the slime, yeah, the slime, being a zombie, yeah, like you holding my brand new baby, yeah, like that was crazy. But yeah, just having you around from every stage of like my adult life, like from teens to now, like we're in our about to be 30s. Well, you you are, and I'm about to be this year. Just kidding. It's just so crazy that we've developed it, and like I literally do, I love you so much. Like, there's nothing that I wouldn't do for you. Like, nothing at all.
SPEAKER_01No, I know because when I first walked in your door, you were like, here's my brand new baby. Like, you're on the phone, you're doing this and that, and I'm like, oh, like I'm like, here she is, take care of her. I'm like, I do my house. I'm like, what I know, right? I'm just like, oh my god, I know I have to hold the neck. Like, make sure the neck doesn't flop around, like that's something, right? It's like and you're just like, you got it. I trust you, like you'll figure it out. Yeah, but And you did. I did. Like, yeah, I'm holding a tiny piece of you. Like, what the hell? Like, I can't believe this is real life right now, you know, but and it's beautiful like watching you be a mother because like I'm like you you said before, like I'm very close with my mom, and so you know, I just I she she's the best, and I I love her so much, I admire her so much, and I just know that like you're an amazing mother.
SPEAKER_00And I've said that to my husband before. I'm like, I hope one day like my kids feel the same way that you are with your mom. Like, and your mom still is kind of like strict with you a little bit, and I like that. Like sometimes she'll put like little rules on you or whatever, and I'm like, I love that because I feel like you can call her and talk to her literally about anything. Yeah, like I want to be that, like for you.
SPEAKER_01And you are, you are you totally are. Like you have such an amazing relationship with your kids, and they're like they're gonna like love that and cherish that and just like know forever, like my mom is fucking badass. You know, like literally, that's like it's got I mean, like I'm not a mom, you know, but it's gotta be the best feeling. Like, my mom was just literally out here visiting me, and it's just like even though I've had a crazy ass life, she still knows everything because I know she's not gonna judge me, and I know that like you're you're always gonna be like that with your kids too. Yeah, I'm not here for you. Exactly.
SPEAKER_00I never want them to feel judged, like I never want them to feel like they're too much, like for being themselves. I feel like I felt like a a lot.
SPEAKER_01Your friendship means the world to me.
SPEAKER_00I'm so proud of you and everything that you've gone through, and you're still the baddest bitch I've ever met. Literally, I'm obsessed with you. Girl crush forever.
SPEAKER_01Forever and ever. Forever and ever, baby. Now we're going to the club, right? Yeah. Okay.
